The "Enjoy the Nature Tour" in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a 7-day trip designed for couples, families with children, and larger groups. Tour Plan

Day 1

Your dream journey will start by transferring from Sarajevo Airport to the hotel, where you will check-in and have time to rest. At the agreed time, you will meet with your guide and get to know the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the Sarajevo tour. We will explore Baščaršija and introduce the oriental culture of the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian empires. At Sarajevo, we will visit the most popular tourist monuments: Sebilj, Kazandžiluk street, Gazi – husrevbey′s mosque, Old orthodox church, Jewish synagogue, Inat house, Tawn Hall, bridges of Miljacka, Latin Bridge is the place that indirectly initiated World War I. In the evening, you will have time to enjoy your free time and explore the streets of Sarajevo.

Day 2

After breakfast, our adventure begins by exploring Vrelo Bosne, the green area of Sarajevo, just a half-hour from the city center. You will have a chance to see the springs of river Bosna, feed swans, walk, ride in a carriage, etc. Vrelo Bosne will make you feel like you are in a fairy tale. Vrelo Bosne is a perfect place for a picnic, exercise, and relaxation. Our youngest will have a chance to enjoy various playgrounds for children. In the evenings, we will return to the hotel, and soon after, we will enjoy a traditional Bosnian dinner in one of the best restaurants in Sarajevo.

Day 3

After breakfast, we will start our journey by departing to Small Pliva Lake and Large Pliva Lake, which are placed 5km from Jajce. Pliva Lakes are two natural lakes on the Pliva River in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A few things make the Pliva River unique. Natural barriers of tufa limestone, and natural dams created by accumulated moss and algae that grow 1cm every year. There are playgrounds, picnic tables, and fire pits scattered around the lakes, along with cafes and hotels, but also shacks where you can hire kayaks and bicycles.

After the tour, we will visit Jajce and its natural and cultural attractions. Jajce is a city with a waterfall (one of the twelve most beautiful in the world) and the estuary of the River Pliva in River Vrbas. We will also visit the Citadel in Jajce, the Bear tower, the Tower of St. Luke, Esma Sultan Mosque. After Jajce, we will go to Travnik, one of the most important cities in the Ottoman imperia. There is also the first Islamic school in Balkan ever. After lunch and trying the traditional kebab in Travnik, we will continue our trip to Sarajevo.

Day 4

The fourth day is having a fun day! You will experience an unforgettable rafting adventure. After breakfast, we will go to Konjic, one hour ride from Sarajevo. On rafting, you will feel the adrenalin and enjoy the beauty of the Neretva River.  You will have a barbeque lunch break in the middle. Rafting is safe for everyone, even small children. 

When it’s come to equipment, you will get everything you need. You will raft 25km down the Neretva River, for approx. 6 hours with an experienced skipper (rafting instructor). After that, we will come back to Sarajevo.

Day 5

In the morning, drive to Kravice waterfalls - one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Europe and proceed to Pocitelj. After Kravice, we will visit the historic city of Pocitelj. 

After a tour in Pocitelj, we continue to Mostar. Upon arrival, Mostar proceeds for the city tour with fascinating history, beautiful architecture, and a natural setting in a valley on the Neretva riverbanks. Start with sightseeing; visit Old bridge (UNESCO World Heritage), Bey’s Mosque, Oriental bazaar, and Turkish house. We suggest you late lunch/dinner because from Mostar to Sarajevo we will have the opportunity to take dinner with the best and most famous meat of Bosnian food “Roast Lamb” in Jablanica.

Day 6

After breakfast, departure to Bijambare Cave. The area of ​​Bijambare, with the Bijambare Cave, is one of the few picnic areas that are suitable for all nature lovers: it is a real atmosphere for lovers of caves, clear waters, pine forests, and forest silence. The Bijambare Nature Park covers an area of 497 ha and was established for landscape conservation, scientific research, ecological education, recreation, and tourism. It offers outstanding opportunities for adventurers and nature lovers, as well as for relaxation for the whole family. At Lunchtime we suggest Bijambare or Ajdinovici or Image restaurant on the river. After lunch we will back to Sarajevo on City view driving on Sarajevo Cable Car from the center city of Sarajevo to the top of the mountain of Trebević, it will give you an amazing panorama view of all of Sarajevo – a famous place to enjoy and make best pictures for memories of your trip. Overnight stay.

Day 7

You will be transferred to the Sarajevo International Airport. We would like you all to have a safe trip home.
